coffee.

So, interesting facts.

Here's a "did ya know"...
If you typed into Google search the simple word of "Coffee" the first thing to pop up is 'Starbucks'. I do indeed love my 'Starbucks', esp this time of the year... tall, nonfat with whip (compensates... annnnd it's just delicious), pumpkin spice latte.

The second one is the actualy good ole wikipedia version.

They say
-It is one of the most-consumed beverages in the world
-The earliest credible evidence of coffee drinking appears in the middle of the 15th century, in the Sufi shrines of Yamen in southern Arabia

Benefits in moderate caffine consumption
-Increased memory performance

-Increased physical performance
-Increased muscle recovery
-Decreased risk of heart disease
-Increased intraocular pressure
-Decreased risk of liver disease

My favorite place is a local coffeehouse called "The Frothy Monkey". It. Is. Ahhhmazing.
Local. Fresh eggs what??!!. Fair trade. MMMMMMM.

I'm a pretty savvy gal, budget conscious to my husband's dismay, but... my one thing... that is my one indulgence... The one small area in my life that absolutely could save me a few backaroos per pound of beautiful Bongo Java beans freashly ground and all perfection were replaced by some beans of lower quality and lower taste... here it is, my... french press.

Yes, my french press. I do indeed like the good ole Mr. Coffee but almost every morning I am a french presser. Not certain if that is an actual coined phrase, but it should be. I'd make tee shirts and all.

If you had never the pleasure of french pressing I can tell you if you knew my love off good food and good drink, I have the amazing influence on people with recomendations to places to eat and also... the french press.

It's my thing... my one smile for every morning caffinated bliss... and that is one of my "interesting facts"... now go out and become... a french presser!
